ROLL COATER MACHINE, Indonesia

Problem

The company has a large Galvanizing Line that applied 'Passivation' protection (chromic acid) by a 'spray and squeegee system'. They were receiving customer complaints about white and black surface rust.

They wanted to improve their solution application and move to technically advanced chemicals to provide improved surface protection. They had to regularly 'dump' their chemical bath and re-make with new chemical that proved expensive and generated unwanted effluent.

Solution

A Bronx Roll Coater Machine was installed to apply the passivation chemical. The machine provided full operator control flexibility and chemical application accuracy, allowing superior chemicals to be used with zero effluent and wastage.

Result

The product is now properly passivated with the correct protection and with no more surface corrosion defects.
