A bit of background..

A company based in India required a slitting-line solution from Bronx. The company was slitting steel strips, however the final result was poor quality of the strips. The slitting and side trimming process was inconsistent and inaccurate, which led to dissatisfied customers and overall a dip in revenues.

Solution

Bronx’s driven team of experts engineered a bespoke solution, supplying a Tension Leveller to retro-fit into the line to correct the strip shape before slitting. This then corrected the former errors.

Result

The strip shape was improved so the slitting and side trimming processes were made accurate and product quality was significantly improved. Overall a great result for both the company and for Bronx.
